Our Pilates Studio

Our Pilates gym is designed to offer a huge range of variety, to tailor Pilates training to all levels of ability. We are equipped with magnificent large apparatus such as the Cadillac and Reformer to provide assistance and resistance. We incorporate a diverse range of studio equipment within the mat training, sessions such as weights, balls, resistance bands, magic circles and the Pilates Barre. No class is ever the same.

reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates training is at the heart of our studio. This specialist equipment provides resistance & support, allowing for a dynamic and targeted workout. It can be enjoyed whatever your level of fitness and is available for booking every day.​

​

Training can be booked as solo, duo or 3/4/5 attendees within your own socially-distanced zone.

​

Mat & Small Equipment Pilates

These sessions are timetabled conveniently, from early in the morning, for lunch breaks, through to the evenings for convenience and for regular movement. Modifications are included to challenge clients who are very fit and to ensure the sessions are accessible to any one new to exercise. These sessions offer a bit of everything, they will get your heartrate up with Russian squats and Barre segments, as well as the use of small equipment to provide resistance & body weight strength training. You will feel the benefits of  stretch, improved, improved posture, flexibility and muscle tone.

Dance, Barre and Ballet

Shape, stretch and strengthening with elegance, in our ballet inspired Barre classes. Or enjoy full body workouts to upbeat Pop Music.

We currently have four dance based activities with Lianne.

Stretch Class

An important class for everyone. Stretching is so good for you physically, in terms of improving your flexibility, increasing blood flow to your muscles and increasing your mobility.

Ballet Barre

Ballet Barre class is a ballet inspired full body workout, combining elements of dance, yoga, strength training and Pilates. 

​

Ballet Bums

It is the first ballet HIIT workout of its kind; a 45 minute cardio based ballet workout to upbeat music, stripping ballet of its normal stigma and making it fun!

CardioDance Fit

Popdance Fit is an upbeat, cardio dance workout to pop music! The class is 45 minutes of fun, easy to follow dance routines to get the heart rate up, get the body dancing and to work that cardio.

Yoga and Meditation

Our Yoga studio offers holistic and mindful practise that includes physical movements (asana), breathing (pranayama), meditation (dhyana) and relaxation (savasana).

Rest and Restore - Yoga for Stress and Anxiety

This class will soothe the nervous system, relax muscular tension to restore, energise and heal your mind, body and spirit.

​

Yoga for Backs

Using simple yoga postures and breath awareness you learn how to stretch, strengthen and create flexibility in a safe way to manage your back pain. You will relearn how to move, sit, stand to find a healthy function and alignment of your body, on and off the yoga mat.

​

Menopause Yoga

A yoga practice with breathing techniques and mindful meditation exercises to help manage the main symptoms such as hot flushes, anxiety, irritability, insomnia, fatigue, lack of focus and low mood. The sequences are tailored to manage menopausal symptoms and make the transition in a healthy, nurturing, positive way.

 

- A slow flow, mindful grounding practice to manage anxiety, insomnia.

- A cooling, calm practice to manage hot flushes, night sweats, irritability, anger, rage.

- An uplifting and energising practice to manage fatigue, low mood, weight gain.

A 30-minute blast of cardio and strength. Have fun whilst getting the most out of your workout with this guided group class.
